Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Economic Science and Technology Promotion Agency (hereinafter GEPA) are recruiting startups to participate in one-on-one meetings (meetups) for the ‘2026 Gyeonggi Startup Summit (G-SUMMIT 2026)’ to be held at Suwon Convention Center from October 14 to 15, by August 21.

The ‘Gyeonggi Startup Summit’ is a global startup event hosted by Gyeonggi Province and organized by GEPA, connecting innovative startups with domestic and international investment institutions and large and mid-sized enterprises to provide opportunities for investment attraction, business collaboration, and overseas expansion.

This year's one-on-one on-site meetups will feature the participation of more than 150 investment and collaboration institutions including domestic and overseas venture capital (VC), accelerators (AC), corporate venture capital (CVC) such as POSCO Technology Investment, HL Group, and Kyobo Life Insurance, as well as large and mid-sized enterprises. Participating startups can directly meet with interested investors and companies to discuss investment attraction and business collaboration possibilities.

Startups wishing to participate in the one-on-one on-site meetups for the ‘2026 Gyeonggi Startup Summit’ can apply on the official website (g-startupsummit.or.kr) by August 21. Additionally, general visitors and startup-related personnel wishing to observe the venue can register in advance from August 24 to October 13 for free admission.

Notably, this year will operate a preliminary investment meetup program (Invest Connect) and link it with the one-on-one on-site meetups at the main October event to continue investment discussions. At the first preliminary investment meetup held on June 30, 60 meetups resulted in 17 billion won in investment review. The second preliminary investment meetup will be held over two days from August 19 to 20.

Ryu Soon-yeol, Director of the Venture and Startup Division of Gyeonggi Province, stated, “This year, we are focusing on connecting preliminary investment meetups, the main event, and subsequent investment reviews to expand practical investment opportunities for investors,” adding, “We will actively support promising startups in meeting with investment institutions and making a leap into the global market.”
