‘suit’는 ‘어울리다, 꼭 맞다’라는 의미의 동사입니다. 의복류뿐만 아니라 일이나 상황이 잘 맞을 때도 사용할 수 있습니다.
Ex) If you want to go by train, that suits me fine. 기차로 가고 싶다면 나는 괜찮아.
‘bring out’는 ‘~를 끌어내다, ~를 눈에 띄게 만들다’라는 의미입니다.
Ex) I tried to bring out the liveliness of the city. 나는 그 도시의 생동감을 끌어내려 했어.
A crisis brings out the best in her. 위기가 그녀의 능력의 최고조를 끌어낸다.
‘try on’은 옷이나 신발 따위를 ‘입어보다’라는 의미입니다.
Ex) Why don’t you try on that black dress? 저 블랙 드레스를 입어보지 그래?
