A : I’d like to get a refund for this dress I bought yesterday.
B : Okay, what’s the problem with the dress?
A : I didn’t realize when I bought it but it’s a little too long.
B : We can take up the hem of the dress. Would you let us do it?
A : That sounds alright. By when can you get it done?
B : It will be done by tomorrow evening.
A : 어제 샀던 드레스를 환불 받고 싶은데요.
B : 네, 드레스에 무슨 문제가 있나요?
A : 제사 살 때는 몰랐는데 조금 너무 길어요.
B : 드레스 밑 단을 올릴 수 있는데 해 드릴까요?
A : 그거 괜찮네요. 언제까지 해 주실 수 있죠?
B : 내일 저녁까지 될 거예요.

‘환불 받다’라는 표현은 ‘get a refund’이며 ‘refund’는 ‘환불’ ‘환불하다’라는 의미 둘 다 가지고 있습니다.
Ex) We will refund your money to you in full. 당신이 내신 돈을 전액 환불해 드립니다.
‘hem’은 치마의 밑단을 나타내며 ‘seam’은 옷감 두 겹이 만나서 바느질 된 ‘솔기’를 의미합니다.
Ex) There is a rip on one seam. 솔기 하나가 터졌다.
The hem on her skirt needs sewing. 그녀의 치마 밑단은 바느질이 필요하다.
