B : Good heavens! It's the most peculiar place I’ve ever seen!
A : Look at that carving over the fireplace.
B : Weird! There's a mixture of everything.
A : Looks Chinese.
B : And how could anyone live in a house like this!

A : 이게 그 집 일리가 없어!
B : 맙소사! 내가 본 제일 이상한 집이야.
A : 저기 벽난로 너머에 조각 좀 봐.
B : 이상하다! 모든 게 다 섞여 있어.
A : 중국 풍인 것 같은데

‘the 최상급 형용사 I’ve ever seen/met’의 구문을 사용하면 ‘내가 본 중/만난 중 가장 ~한’이라는 표현을 할 수 있습니다.
Ex) He’s the coolest guy I’ve ever met.  그는 내가 만난 중 가장 멋진 남자야.

‘could/would’를 사용하여 현실의 상황과는 다른 반대의 상황을 가정하거나 현실에서는 일어나지 않을 상황에 대하여 말할 수 있습니다.
Ex) Who would wear such a hideous dress?  누가 그런 흉측한 드레스를 입겠니?
