A : I want to go on holidays.
B : Oh, where would you like to go?
A : I want to travel to South America, the USA and Canada!
B : That will cost a lot of money!
A: True, but you can’t take it with you.
A : 휴가를 가고 싶어.
B : 어, 어디로 가고 싶은데?
A : 미국이나 캐나다 남아메리카로 여행하고 싶어.
B : 굉장히 비용이 많이 들 텐데!
A : 맞아, 하지만 죽을 때 돈을 싸 짊어 갈 순 없잖아.

‘You can’t take it with you.’는 죽어버리면 돈은 아무 의미가 없으므로 돈은 지금 즐겁게 써야 한다는 것을 뜻하는 속담입니다.
Ex) Use up all you have before you die because you can’t take it with you. 죽어서 다 싸 짊어갈 수 없으니 죽기 전에 가진 것을 다 쓰고 가라.
Ex) After all, what's money? You can't take it with you into purgatory, so buy your way out sooner by giving to charity. 결국 돈이란 무엇입니까? 돈을 지옥에 다 짊어지고 갈 순 없습니다. 그러니 자선 단체에 기부하셔서 지옥으로부터의 탈출구를 빨리 사들이세요.
