A: Now eat your vegetables like a good boy.
B: Mom! I'm not a kid anymore. I'm 25 years old.
A: As long as you're in my house, you'll always be my baby.
B: I've graduated university and finished military service. What more do you want from me to prove I'm not a kid?
A: A wife.

A : 자 착한 아이처럼 채소를 다 먹으렴.
B : 엄마! 나 이제 더 이상 아이가 아니에요. 25살이라구요!
A : 네가 내 집에 있는 한, 너는 항상 내 아기일거야.
B : 대학도 졸업했고 군대도 마쳤어요. 내가 애가 아니라는 것을 증명하기 위해 뭘 더 바라세요?
A : 네 부인?

‘as long as’ 는 접속사로 사용될 때 ‘~하는 한’이라는 의미이며 ‘as far as’와 매우 비슷합니다. 또한 원래 의미 그대로 ‘~만큼 길게/오래’라는 뜻으로도 사용됩니다.
Ex)  As long as you’ve prepared well, it will be no problem.  네가 잘 준비하는 한 문제는 없을 거야.
   I don’t use it. Keep it as long as you want.  나 그거 사용 안 해. 네가 원하는 만큼 오래 가지고 있어.
