A: We just found ice cream in the freezer.
B: Awesome, can you scoop me out some?
A: Sure I just need to find a scooper, bowl and a spoon.
B: This is the life. I am sitting in a comfortable chair, soon to indulge in some delicious ice cream.
A: Looks like we don't have any clean bowls, do you just want to eat the ice cream from the container?
B: Sure, why not? I could care less how I eat the ice cream, so long as I get to eat some.
A : 우리 방금 냉동실에서 아이스크림을 발견했어.
B : 멋지다! 나 좀 퍼서 줄래?
A : 물론이지, 국자랑 그릇이랑 스푼만 찾으면 돼.
B : 이게 바로 사는 거지. 안락의자에 앉아서 곧 아이스크림도 실컷 먹을 거고.
A : 깨끗한 그릇이 없는 것 같아. 그냥 아이스크림 통으로 먹을래?
B : 물론이지, 왜 안되겠어? 내가 아이스크림만 먹을 수만 있다면 어떻게 먹는지는 신경 안 써.

냉장고는 ‘fridge’인데 주로 냉장실을 의미하고 냉동실은 ‘freezer’입니다.
‘This is the life.’은 ‘이런 게 인생이지, 기분 최고다’라는 의미의 관용 표현입니다. 해석은 비슷하지만 속 뜻은 전혀 반대인 표현으로 ‘Such is life.’와 ‘That’s life.’가 있는데 무언가 하고 싶지 않은 일을 해야 하거나 좋지 않은 일이 있을 때 사용합니다.
Ex) In an ideal world, I'd rather have the child and the career but it's not possible. That's life… 이상적인 세상에서 나는 아이를 갖고 직업도 가지겠지만 그것은 불가능하다. 그게 인생이지…
