A : What happened to your eye? 
B : Nothing really. I went to kiss my daughter on her tummy last night and she reached up to stop me. When she did that, her fingernails scrapped my eye. 
A : That sounds painful. 
B : It wasn't too bad at first, but the next morning it really hurt. 
A : What did the doctor say? 
B : He said that it should be OK.

A : 네 눈에 무슨 일이 생긴 거야?
B : 아무것도 아니야. 어제 밤에 딸 아이의 배에 뽀뽀를 해주려고 하는데 딸아이가 막아서 손톱으로 내 눈을 긁어버렸어.
A : 아팠겠다.
B : 처음에 심하진 않았는데 다음날 아침엔 정말 아팠어.
A : 의사가 뭐라고 했어?
B : 괜찮을 거라고 했어.

‘~의 ~에 뽀뽀하다’라는 표현을 하고 싶을 때 ‘kiss somebody on somebody’s cheek / eye / lips / forehead’ 입니다. 비슷한 구조의 표현으로 ‘hit somebody in the eye/face ~의 눈/얼굴을 치다/때리다’가 있습니다.
Ex) I accidentally hit him in the face. 나는 그의 얼굴을 우연히 때렸다.

‘~가 아프다’라는 표현을 할 때 ‘hurt’라는 단어를 사용하는데 아픈 부위를 주어로 사용하고 ‘hurt’를 능동의 형태로 사용한다는 점을 유의해야 합니다.
Ex) Ouch! My ankle hurts. 아야! 발목이 아파요.
