Anyang City Ranks No. 1 in Gyeonggi Province for Korean Service Quality Index 'Three Years in a Row'
[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Eom In-yong] Anyang City announced on the 10th that it was selected as No. 1 in Gyeonggi Province for the third consecutive year in the local government administrative service sector of the '2026 Korean Service Quality Index' survey hosted by the Korean Standards Association.
The Korean Service Quality Index is a service quality evaluation model jointly developed by the Korean Standards Association and Seoul National University's Institute of Management Research, which has been in operation since 2000.
This survey was conducted through a combination of one-on-one interviews and online panel surveys targeting customers who used 119 companies and 72 local governments.
In the survey, Anyang City recorded 74.0 points, up 0.4 points from last year (73.6 points), achieving the distinction of being selected as No. 1 among 17 Gyeonggi Province local governments with populations of 300,000 or more.
In particular, among the 13 evaluation indicators, it received excellent evaluations in △core service △public value △courtesy △proactiveness △reliability △appropriateness △accessibility △convenience △comfort, and others.
Anyang Mayor Choi Dae-ho said, "Anyang City ranking 'No. 1 in Gyeonggi Province' in the Korean Service Quality Index for three consecutive years is a meaningful result achieved through the trust of our citizens and the efforts of public officials," adding, "We will continue to work even harder to provide the best administrative services that citizens can feel in their daily lives."
