Icheon City to Hold 'Public Hearing for the 6th Community Social Security Plan'

[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Eom In-yong] Icheon City announced that it will hold a public hearing on the 'Establishment of the 6th Community Social Security Plan' on the 18th at the Jungni-dong Community Service Center (Room 408).

This public hearing was arranged to reflect the opinions of citizens and the field regarding the 6th Community Social Security Plan, which is being established in accordance with the 'Act on the Use, Provision of Social Security Benefits and Identification of Eligible Recipients.'

Any citizen interested in welfare policy can participate, including members of the Community Social Security Council, workers at social welfare facilities and institutions, related agencies, and experts.

At the public hearing, the vision and implementation strategies of the 6th Community Social Security Plan, along with the social security strategy, regional development strategy, and detailed projects by sector, will be introduced.

A city official said, “The Community Social Security Plan is an important statutory plan that sets the direction of Icheon City's social security policy for the next four years,” adding, “We ask for much interest and active participation so that the diverse voices of citizens and the field can be faithfully reflected in the plan.”
