Hwaseong City Entrepreneurs Council Delivers Warm Support to Vulnerable Groups

Hwaseong Special City (Mayor Jeong Myeong-geun) announced that on the 11th, the Hwaseong City Entrepreneurs Council delivered support items for vulnerable groups in Songsan-myeon and Seosin-myeon.

The event was attended by Hwaseong City Entrepreneurs Council Chairman Yoon Hyun-seok, along with officials from the Songsan and Seosin Administrative Welfare Centers and Hwaseong Special City. Hwaseong Special City Council member Lee Min-hee joined the Seosin-myeon program, adding meaning to the act of sharing.

This support was arranged to improve the living conditions of vulnerable groups suffering from summer heat waves and daily hardships, and to practice warm sharing within the local community.

Through prior consultation with Songsan and Seosin-myeon, the Hwaseong City Entrepreneurs Council provided a total of 3 million won worth of customized support items to selected vulnerable groups. Two low-income households of elderly people living alone in Songsan-myeon each received one wall-mounted air conditioner and one washing machine, while vulnerable groups in Seosin-myeon were provided with 24 electric fans and other items to safely get through the hot summer.

Yoon Hyun-seok, Chairman of the Hwaseong City Entrepreneurs Council, said, “I hope this will be at least some help in enabling struggling neighbors in the region to live more comfortably and safely,” adding, “We will continue to steadily carry out sharing activities together with the local community going forward.”
