Preview Suwon Tourist Attractions and Public Facilities with 'Suwon 360° Tour' Smartphone Service

Suwon Special City (Mayor Lee Jae-jun) has launched the 'Suwon 360° Tour' service, which allows users to preview the interiors and surrounding spaces of tourist attractions and public facilities in a 360° view on their screens.

Suwon 360° Tour is an immersive spatial information service that enables users to explore the interiors and surrounding areas of facilities as if they were visiting in person, accessible via smartphones and personal computers (PCs).

Suwon City is providing the service starting with Namsuheon and Yeounghung Arboretum. Content has been produced focusing on interior spaces of public facilities and road view service gaps that are difficult to provide through private map platforms.

From 360° panorama planning and photography to personal information editing such as faces and vehicle license plates, panorama coding utilizing artificial intelligence (AI), and linking with the living geographic information system, all processes have been performed by city staff, implementing the service without additional budget allocation.

The service can be accessed on various devices including mobile phones and tablets and is available through Suwon City's living geographic information system (https://www.suwon.go.kr:38083/1/system).

A Suwon City official stated, "We hope that citizens and tourists will be able to check necessary spatial information more easily and conveniently through Suwon 360° Tour," and added, "We will expand content into various fields including tourism, public facilities, and disaster safety in reflection of citizens' needs."
