Gyeonggi Provincial Library Offers Tours Led by Residents

Gyeonggi Provincial Library will operate the "Gyeonggi Provincial Library Tours with Resident Docents" program from September 1 to 17.

In July, Gyeonggi Provincial Library trained 31 resident docents through the "Library School," where residents directly plan and operate library guide content. The tours will be held 19 times in total: 12 general tours, 4 AI program tours, and 3 book reading sessions at World Friends Book Village, with each program accommodating 4 to 10 participants per session.

Resident docents will introduce tour participants to the spaces and major facilities of Gyeonggi Provincial Library, as well as stories about books and the library. They will share the value of the library and experiences they learned at Library School.

Program registration is available from August 20 to 31 through the Gyeonggi Provincial Library website (library.kr) on a first-come, first-served basis according to capacity per session. General tours allow one team registration of up to 10 people maximum per session, while AI programs are limited to 4 people or fewer. The World Friends Book Village book reading program is conducted for daycare centers and kindergartens.
