Neuroscientist Dr. Jang Dong-seon Invited for Lecture on 'Parenting in the AI Era' on the 29th

Gyeonggi Province and the Population, Health and Welfare Association Gyeonggi Branch will hold an invited lecture by Dr. Jang Dong-seon, a neuroscientist and science communicator, on the theme of 'Parenting in the AI Era' at 10 a.m. on the 29th at the auditorium on the third floor of the Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation.

This special lecture has been organized to jointly consider the role of parents and future childcare directions amid rapid changes in the social environment, including artificial intelligence (AI), and to spread consensus on family-friendly parenting culture.

Dr. Jang Dong-seon will examine the changes that advances in AI technology will bring to our daily lives, education, and child-rearing, and will discuss what kinds of relationships parents should build with their children amid these changes and what competencies children need to thrive in future society.

Any Gyeonggi Province resident is welcome to participate. From 9 a.m. on August 20, a total of 70 households will be recruited on a first-come, first-served basis through online application.
