Suwon Metropolitan City (Mayor Lee Jae-jun) will hold the '2026 Saebit Park Festival' at Manseok Park throughout September, offering residents performances and citizen participation and experience programs.
The Saebit Park Festival is a celebration that links park-related programs from various departments so that residents can enjoy leisure and culture together in the park. Performances, markets, cultural and experience activities, and environmental and health programs will be held throughout Manseok Park.
Main events include △Art on the Street (September 5) △Stage On (6th) △30th Suwon Baekjung Festival (12th) △2026 Suwon Street Art Valley Dance (13th) △Manseok Healing Art Festival (20th) △Cinema in Manseokgeo (27th), and more.
Citizen participation programs are diverse. In addition to the Manseok Small Market, Suwon Goods Flea Market, Suwon City Sharing Economy Festival, and neighborhood flea markets, the program includes family plogging, pet culture classes, woodworking playgrounds, and carbon neutrality and resource circulation experiences. There will also be 'Hangeul Festival Gather Joy (樂)' where citizens come together ahead of Chuseok.
Programs tailored to different ages and interests will continue, including senior dance classes, tea ceremony experience 'Mind Dahdam,' 'Manseok: Right Steps,' 'Manseok Park Exploration,' and 'Green Green Museum: Sensory Notes.' Life-centered programs such as the Red Circle Campaign and bicycle safety education will also be offered.
