Gyeonggi Province Library Recruits Participants for 'Youth × Studio' Program for Young Researchers and Creators

Gyeonggi Province Library is recruiting participants for the 'Youth × Studio' program until August 31, which will allow young people to freely conduct research and create works using the library's spaces and resources.

Applicants must be 19-39 years old, residing in Gyeonggi Province according to their resident registration as of the announcement date or currently enrolled at a university or graduate school located in Gyeonggi Province. Four participants will be selected.

The recruitment fields are divided into 'independent researchers' in research areas such as library service design and living labs, and community issue exploration, and 'creators and content creators' in digital content creation fields such as media art, webtoons, and web design.

Selected participants will be provided with individual workspaces, desks, office chairs, cabinets, and other basic working environments on the fifth floor of Gyeonggi Province Library from October 1 this year through June 30 next year, spanning nine months. Participants must operate a monthly open class based on their research and creative activities, and share their experiences and achievements with residents by completing research and creative missions at Gyeonggi Province Library during the program period.

Young people wishing to participate should submit an application form, self-introduction and research/activity plan, portfolio, and personal information collection and use consent form by 6 p.m. on August 31 to the person in charge via email (kaddish@gg.go.kr).

Results for the document screening will be announced on September 8, and following a presentation interview on September 15, final winners will be announced on September 30.
