Uiwang City Selects 36 Scholarship Recipients to Foster Outstanding Talent
The Uiwang City Talent Development Foundation (Chairman Kim Sung-je) is recruiting "second-half 2026 scholarship recipients" to foster local talent.
The Uiwang City Talent Development Foundation is implementing various scholarship programs to enable students to focus on their studies and develop their dreams and capabilities. Through this scholarship recruitment, the foundation plans to discover outstanding local talent and support students' stable academic pursuits.
The scholarship selection targets include △20 Hope Dream scholarship recipients for university students △15 academic excellence scholarship recipients for high school students △1 specialty scholarship recipient for high school students, totaling 36 recipients.
Selected scholarship recipients will receive a total of 56 million won in scholarships, with university Hope Dream scholarship recipients receiving 2 million won per person and high school scholarship recipients receiving 1 million won per person.
The scholarship application period runs from August 24 to September 4. Students wishing to apply should check the eligibility requirements and required documents in the foundation's website notice, then submit their applications and supporting documents via email or mail.
Mayor Kim Sung-je of Uiwang City stated, "I hope this scholarship will open new opportunities for students and serve as a catalyst for further growth," and added, "Going forward, we will continue to operate substantial scholarship programs for students who will lead the region's future."
