Gyeonggi Ceramic Biennale Offers Ticket Giveaways and Discount Events
Ahead of the "2026 Gyeonggi Ceramic Biennale" opening on September 18, the Korea Ceramic Foundation has prepared various benefits for visitors, including free admission tickets for ceramic product purchasers and advance booking discounts.
Starting August 19, the foundation is giving two "2026 Gyeonggi Ceramic Biennale Integrated Admission Tickets" to customers who purchase ceramic products worth 30,000 won or more at the Yeoju Ceramic World ceramic sales outlet and the Gyeonggi Province Government Cultural Lounge "Gyeonggi Ceramic Shop."
The integrated admission ticket allows one visit to the biennale exhibitions held in three regions—Icheon, Gwangju, and Yeoju—one visit per region. Tickets are provided on-site after confirming the purchase receipt, with one ticket issued per transaction. The event will end once all 400 prepared admission tickets are distributed.
Additionally, the foundation offers advance booking discounts through Ticketlink and Naver until September 17, the day before the biennale's opening.
The advance booking integrated admission ticket is priced at 7,000 won for general admission, a 36% discount from the regular price of 11,000 won, while eligible discounted visitors can purchase it for 4,000 won. Individual tickets are available at 3,500 won for Icheon and 2,500 won for Gwangju and Yeoju.
Previously, the foundation distributed all 4,000 specially discounted admission tickets linked to the Korea Art Festival, confirming high public interest in the biennale. The foundation plans to continue various visitor participation events and promotions until opening to accelerate securing biennale visitors.
Ryu In-kwon, CEO of the Korea Ceramic Foundation, said, "Through this event, we hope that the joy of purchasing ceramic products will lead to biennale visits, and become an opportunity to experience ceramic culture more closely in daily life. We anticipate that both ceramic product sales and biennale attendance will flourish together, allowing more people to discover the diverse appeal of ceramics."
Meanwhile, the 2026 Gyeonggi Ceramic Biennale is Korea's only international ceramic art festival, running for 45 days from September 18 to November 1 across Icheon, Gwangju, and Yeoju. The event will feature various exhibitions and programs including the International Ceramic Exhibition, Master Artisan Exhibition, Collection Exhibition, ceramic experiences, and art flea markets.
