Gyeonggi Province Office of Education Announces 8,544 Passers in Second 2026 GED Examination

The Gyeonggi Province Office of Education announced on the 28th the passers of the "2026 Second GED Examination for Elementary, Middle, and High School Graduates."

The "2026 Second GED Examination" held on the 11th of this month had 9,543 test takers out of 10,799 applicants, with 8,544 passing and recording a pass rate of 89.53%. This represents a decrease of approximately 0.44% compared to the pass rate of 89.97% for the 2026 First GED Examination held in April.

Pass rates by education level are as follows: △Elementary 96.06% (634 test takers, 609 passed) △Middle school 93.18% (1,817 test takers, 1,693 passed) △High school 88.01% (7,092 test takers, 6,242 passed).

Those who scored perfect marks in all subjects are △Elementary 52 people △Middle school 40 people △High school 199 people. The oldest passers are △Elementary born in 1947 △Middle school born in 1945 △High school born in 1938, while the youngest passers are △Elementary born in 2014 △Middle school born in 2014 △High school born in 2013.

Whether candidates passed the GED can be verified through exam admission number on the "Gyeonggi Province Office of Education website (News/Information–Exam Information–GED–GED Announcements)." Scores can be inquired after identity verification on the "NICE GED Service (https://kged.go.kr)."

Additionally, GED (subject) certificates of passing and score reports can be issued online through the "Government24 website," and can also be obtained by visiting the administrative offices of nearby elementary, middle, or high schools or through visits to education (support) offices.
