Hwaseong Special City Holds 'Multi-Child Policy Idea Contest'
Hwaseong Special City (Mayor Chung Myung-keun) is holding the '2026 Hwaseong Special City Multi-Child Policy Idea Contest' to discover practical multi-child policies that reflect citizens' daily lives and experiences.
This contest was organized to discover innovative and practical multi-child policy ideas from citizens' perspectives and to reflect outstanding proposals in city administration.
The contest theme is 'Practical multi-child policy ideas needed for Hwaseong Special City.' Participants can propose various policies that provide substantial assistance to multi-child families, including △ideas for culture, experience, and leisure activities utilizing public facilities △services that can reduce childcare burdens in daily life for multi-child households.
The application period runs through September 6, and any citizen interested in Hwaseong Special City can participate. Submitted proposals will go through a first-round document screening and a second-round expert review to select final winners.
The expert review will comprehensively evaluate △theme relevance △feasibility △creativity △sustainability △practicality, with final winners to be announced in October.
The city plans to select five winning entries and award △one grand prize winner 1.5 million won △one excellence prize winner 1 million won △three encouragement prize winners 500,000 won each, totaling 4 million won in prize money, along with certificates signed by the Mayor of Hwaseong.
