Gyeonggi Province announced on the 12th that it has successfully completed all four sessions of the '2026 Gyeonggi Peace Plaza Lawn Film Festival & Cultural Arts Performances,' held at Gyeonggi Peace Plaza since its opening on August 1.

The event has been drawing an enthusiastic response from visitors by presenting cultural arts performances and films across a diverse range of genres on the lawn of Gyeonggi Peace Plaza. Over the past two weeks, a wide array of residents—from families with children to friends, couples, and neighbors—spread out mats and enjoyed the programs in a relaxed atmosphere.

The province plans to continue the event over seven sessions, running from August 15 to 17, on the 22nd and 23rd, and on the 29th and 30th. In consideration of residents' safety during the heat wave, performances will run from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., with film screenings starting at 7:30 p.m.

For the remaining period, tailored cultural performances that the whole family can enjoy, as well as film screenings across various genres, are planned. Information about the event will continue to be provided through the Gyeonggi Peace Plaza website (www.gg.go.kr/peaceplaza) and its Instagram account (@ggpeaceplaza).
