Yongin Special City Selects 10 Outstanding Companies, Grants 3-Year Tax Audit Deferral Benefit
Yongin Special City (Mayor Lee Sang-il) announced on the 12th that it will select 10 outstanding small and medium-sized enterprises to lead the development of the local economy.
Eligible are small and medium-sized enterprises that, as of the announcement date, have their headquarters or a factory in Yongin and have been operating normally for two or more years. Companies certified as outstanding enterprises up until 2020 may reapply.
Companies selected as outstanding enterprises can receive the following benefits for three years: △preferential treatment for special guarantees and interest subsidies for small and medium-sized enterprises △bonus points for various business support programs △priority participation in Yongin City job programs △deferral of local tax audits △a 50% reduction in public parking lot fees.
Applications can be submitted until the 28th through the Yongin Business Support System (https://ybs.ypa.or.kr). Applicants may submit required documents in PDF format online, including a business registration certificate, financial statements, and a withholding tax payment status report.
The city plans to select 10 companies through a document review, on-site verification, and deliberation by the Business Support Committee. The selection results will be individually notified in November, and certificates and plaques will also be awarded.
A city official said, “This is a system to publicize the efforts of small and medium-sized enterprises that lead regional development and to provide practical support,” adding, “We hope for the interest and participation of many companies.”
