Pyeongtaek City Holds Certificate and Plaque Presentation Ceremony for 'Outstanding Product Selection'
Pyeongtaek City (Mayor Choi Won-yong) announced that on the 14th it held a certificate and plaque presentation ceremony at the City Hall Integrated Defense Situation Room for 11 outstanding product companies selected through the recruitment and evaluation of the '2026 Pyeongtaek City Outstanding Product Selection Support Project.'
The 'Pyeongtaek City Outstanding Product Selection Support Project' is a project that discovers superior technologies and products held by small and medium-sized enterprises in the area and promotes them as representative regional outstanding products to support companies' brand value improvement and sales channel expansion. The project was first implemented last year, with the Pyeongtaek Industrial Promotion Agency handling recruitment and product selection, while the city awards certificates and plaques to selected companies.
Evaluation is conducted through a review committee composed of external reviewers based on product excellence and competitiveness, selecting a total of 11 companies: one grand prize, two excellence awards, three outstanding awards, and five encouragement awards.
The ceremony was attended by approximately 30 people including Mayor Choi Won-yong and Pyeongtaek Industrial Promotion Agency Director Lee Hak-ju, along with company executives and officials. The event included congratulations for the selected companies and a time for company representatives to personally introduce their products. Through networking among attendees, discussions were held on promotional methods to increase public awareness and customized sales channel expansion plans for each product to boost company sales, which received strong positive response from company representatives.
Ascendia Co., Ltd.'s 'UnityX (All-on-One RF Platform)' was selected as the grand prize winner. The excellence awards went to Lumitech's 'Dual-Curved Light Guide and Diffuser Integrated Vehicle Ambient Lighting Optical Module' and Ains Co., Ltd.'s 'Upcycled Processed Food (Confectionery) Using Pyeongtaek Agricultural Products,' respectively.
The outstanding awards were given to Cham Miso Agricultural Company Co., Ltd.'s 'Fermented Vegetable Protein Shake (7-pack),' Power Auto System Co., Ltd.'s 'Agentic-SPM (Smart Selective Soldering Product),' and Good Sool Agricultural Company Co., Ltd.'s 'Cheonbihyang Medicinal Wine.'
The encouragement awards went to Dope Co., Ltd.'s 'High-Concentration Amino Acid Activator,' Tolstolts' 'Tolstolts Bamboo Spa Wash,' Nok Don Farming Association's 'Deun Deun Hamburg,' NP Korea Co., Ltd.'s 'Welding Partition NP-WP612,' and Vision Information & Communications Co., Ltd.'s 'Situation-Aware and Object Recognition-Based Public Safety Response Convergence LED Lighting System.'
Mayor Choi Won-yong said in his congratulatory remarks, "I appreciate the efforts of you entrepreneurs who have created outstanding products through endless technological development and innovation despite difficult economic conditions. I will continue to expand support tailored to the growth stages and needs of businesses so that the products selected today can grow into outstanding products representing Pyeongtaek and advance into wider markets."
