The Suwon Agricultural Technology Center will operate 'Talent-Sharing Volunteer Activities by Living Improvement Association' from August through December with participation from Living Improvement Association members and residents.

The volunteer activity involves preparing and sharing traditional foods using skills acquired from traditional culture education conducted at the Suwon Agricultural Technology Center. Approximately 70 participants, including Living Improvement Association members and Suwon residents, will take part across a total of five sessions.

At the first activity held on the 20th at the Living Science Laboratory of the Suwon Agricultural Technology Center, 20 participants prepared fermented doenjang. The product will be delivered to 90 vulnerable households.

Following this, traditional foods will be delivered to a total of 510 households including: gochujang to 90 households (September 11), songpyeon for Chuseok to 120 households (September 14), traditional garaetteok to 120 households (December 2), and red bean porridge for Winter Solstice to 90 households (December 17).

An official from the Suwon Agricultural Technology Center stated, "This is a meaningful activity in which residents share the skills they have acquired through traditional culture education with the local community," and added, "We will support residents in channeling their skills into community sharing."
