Hwaseong Culture and Tourism Foundation Opens 'Hwaseong Children's Future Architecture School'

The Hwaseong Culture and Tourism Foundation announced that it held the opening ceremony for the 'Hwaseong Children's Future Architecture School' on the 22nd at the first exhibition hall of Hwaseong Open Culture and Arts Space.

The opening ceremony was attended by approximately 100 people, including participating children and guardians, members of the Hwaseong Special City Council, and professors from Kyonggi University's Department of Architecture.

This program is a participatory educational and exhibition program where children imagine and create a futuristic space city. The program is significant in that children worked with architects and education specialists to transform their ideas into artworks and completed a single future city.

At the exhibition venue, the 'Dream Space City' completed by children and architects is displayed alongside works by photographer Lee Jae-gyun featuring space as a theme.

An Pil-yeon, Representative Director of the Hwaseong Culture and Tourism Foundation, said, "I hope the free imagination of children will be conveyed through architecture and art as a new vision of the future."
