Osan City announced that it is urging citizens who have not yet used their high oil price relief funds to do so before the deadline of August 31st arrives.

Funds must be used by August 31st, and any remaining balance not used by the deadline will automatically expire and cannot be used thereafter. The funds can be used at small businesses and shops with annual sales of 3 billion won or less, such as traditional markets and neighborhood marts.

Remaining balances can be checked through credit and debit card apps or customer service centers. For prepaid cards, customers can check the balance by calling the customer service center on the back of the card (1644-5330, service number 1→2→2). For Gyeonggi regional currency, users can check through the dedicated app or customer service center (1899-7997).

A city official said, "Once the deadline passes, any remaining funds cannot be used, so we ask that citizens check their balances in advance and use all funds within the deadline."

The city is also providing information about the usage deadline and balance inquiry methods to senior centers and welfare facilities. Previously, the city distributed a total of 22.6 billion won in relief funds to approximately 183,000 citizens.
