Suwon Cultural Foundation Operates 'Bicycle Library Following Moonlight'

The Suwon Cultural Foundation announced that it will operate 'Bicycle Library Following Moonlight,' a mobile reading and culture content initiative, around Suwon Hwaseong from September through October.

The project was designed to allow citizens and tourists to naturally encounter books while strolling through Suwon Hwaseong.

The bicycle library will circulate around tourist routes of Suwon Hwaseong, including Hwaseong Haenggung, Haenggung Plaza, and Banghwasuryu Pavilion, every Friday and Saturday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The mobile bookshelf carries thematically recommended titles and introduces cultural events and tourist content through video equipment. At stopping points, the foundation will conduct book exhibitions, free reading sessions, and bookmark-making experiences to provide distinctive reading experiences.

A foundation official said, "We hope that visitors will create special memories by encountering, reading, and experiencing books on the beautiful nighttime paths of Suwon Hwaseong."
