Suwon Hwaseong Media Art Hwaseo Gate Seating Sales Begin on the 21st

The Suwon Cultural Foundation announced on the 21st that ticket sales have begun for the Hwaseo Gate seating and guided tour program 'Light Embrace Hwaseong' for '2026 Suwon Hwaseong Media Art'.

'2026 Suwon Hwaseong Media Art' is an 18-day evening media art festival running from September 19 to October 6 in the Hwaseo Gate, Jangan Gate, and Jangan Park areas of Suwon Hwaseong. It is a modern reinterpretation of the spirit in which King Jeongjo welcomed distinguished guests with courtesy.

The Hwaseo Gate seating offers close views of the main performance 'Light of Destiny'. On weekends and holidays, admission is 5,000 won per person, while weekdays are free on a first-come, first-served basis. Family zones and wheelchair-accessible seating are also available.

'Light Embrace Hwaseong' is a program where visitors enjoy the history of Suwon Hwaseong and media art works accompanied by cultural tourism guides. Weekend tickets cost 10,000 won per person and weekday tickets cost 5,000 won, with participation available for elementary school students in third grade and above. This year, English, Chinese, and Japanese guided tours will also be newly offered.

Tickets are available for advance purchase on Naver starting from the 21st.
