Hwaseong City Culture and Tourism Foundation to Hold Hwaseong City Art Troupe Orchestra 'Concert Lounge III: Masterpiece & Classic'

[Suwon Ilbo=Cheon Ui-hyun Reporter] The Hwaseong City Culture and Tourism Foundation announced that it will hold the Hwaseong City Art Troupe Orchestra planned performance 'Concert Lounge III: Masterpiece & Classic' at Noulim Art Hall on September 9.

'Concert Lounge' is a planned performance series designed to experience the diverse attractions of classical music up close, and this will be the third installment.

At this concert, cellist Kim Jeong-a will perform as a guest artist, playing Tchaikovsky's "Variations on a Rococo Theme." The Hwaseong City Art Troupe Orchestra will also present the first movement of Beethoven's Symphony No. 5 'Fate,' delivering powerful energy and densely woven ensemble sounds.

Lim Dong-guk, artistic director of the Hwaseong City Orchestra, said, "This is a stage that conveys the depth and charm of classical masterpieces with an outstanding guest artist," adding "We hope citizens will enjoy high-quality classical performances in their everyday lives."

Admission is available for ages 7 and up, with all seats priced at 10,000 won. Early bird reservations made by the 21st will receive a 30% discount. Tickets can be reserved on the Hwaseong City Performance Hall website and Nolticket.
