Osan City Holds 2026 Tourism Souvenir Contest… Applications Accepted September 8-18

Osan City (Mayor Cho Yong-ho) announced on the 24th that it will hold the '2026 Osan City Tourism Souvenir Contest' to discover excellent tourism souvenirs that embody Osan's history and cultural characteristics and can widely promote the region's value.

The contest is open to all Korean citizens, and targets finished products priced at 20,000 won or less that utilize Osan's culture, nature, tourist attractions, festivals, and the city character 'Kkasani'. Tourism souvenirs with commercial viability and practicality may be submitted.

The submitted works will be comprehensively evaluated for thematic value, commercial viability, practicality, sustainability, and scalability, along with preference surveys conducted among visitors to Osan's cultural tourism facilities, with a total of 9 works selected. Award-winning works will consist of 1 grand prize, 2 gold awards, 2 silver awards, and 4 encouragement awards, with total prize money of 10 million won.

Applicants can register from September 8 to 18 by visiting the Culture and Arts Division of Osan City Hall with completed application forms and submitted works.

The award-winning works will be sold through Osan City tourism souvenir shops, and will be promoted through Osan City's official SNS and tourism events. Detailed information about the contest can be found on the Osan City Hall website.
