Osan City (Mayor Jo Yong-ho) announced on the 18th that it signed a memorandum of understanding with Green Umbrella at the mayor's office to promote healthy growth and welfare of local children.

The signing ceremony was attended by Mayor Jo Yong-ho of Osan City, Green Umbrella Chairman Hwang Young-gi, Gyeonggi Region 1 Branch Director Yeo In-mi of Green Umbrella, and singer Andy, a Green Umbrella publicity ambassador.

The MOU was established to provide necessary support to children facing economic hardship. Green Umbrella pledged to donate a total of 1.7 billion won for children in Osan.

The donation will be used for providing supplies to nine community children's centers in the city and supporting vulnerable children.

Green Umbrella Chairman Hwang Young-gi said, "Through this agreement, we will cooperate with Osan City so that local children can receive the help they need" and "We will continue our support so that children can grow up healthily."

Osan City Mayor Jo Yong-ho stated, "For children to grow in a stable environment, interest and cooperation from the local community are necessary" and "We will work together to ensure that children in need continue to receive necessary support."

Meanwhile, Green Umbrella is promoting child welfare programs to support healthy development of children, and has provided approximately 600 million won in support to 461 children in Osan City over the past two years.
