Osan City-Green Umbrella Sign MOU for Healthy Development of Children

Osan City (Mayor Cho Yong-ho) announced on the 18th that it signed a memorandum of understanding with Green Umbrella at the mayor's office to promote healthy growth and welfare enhancement of local children.

The signing ceremony was attended by Osan City Mayor Cho Yong-ho, Green Umbrella Chairman Hwang Young-gi, Green Umbrella Gyeonggi Region 1 Headquarters Director Yeo In-mi, and singer Andy, a Green Umbrella ambassador.

This MOU was established to provide necessary support to children facing economic difficulties. Green Umbrella pledged sponsorship of 170 million won for children in the Osan area.

The sponsorship funds will be used for providing supplies to nine community children's centers within the city and supporting vulnerable children.

Green Umbrella Chairman Hwang Young-gi said, "Through this MOU, we will cooperate with Osan City so that local children can receive necessary help," and "We will continue to provide support so that children can grow up healthily."

Osan City Mayor Cho Yong-ho stated, "In order for children to grow up in a stable environment, community interest and cooperation are necessary," and "We will work together to ensure that children in need continue to receive necessary support."

Meanwhile, Green Umbrella is implementing child welfare projects to support healthy development of children, and has provided approximately 600 million won to 461 children in Osan City over the past two years.
