Gapyeong County Conducts Final Safety Inspection for Gyeonggi Province Disabled Athletes' Living Sports Games
Gapyeong County announced on the 26th that it has conducted a final safety inspection of the Jara Island venue ahead of the opening of the "20th Gyeonggi Province Disabled Athletes' Living Sports Games."
County Governor Seo Tae-won and related officials participated in the inspection, comprehensively checking the facilities and amenities at the Jara Island venue where the opening ceremony will be held on the 28th. Participants carefully examined every corner of the venue to ensure no safety accidents occur during the games.
County Governor Seo Tae-won said, "We will carefully inspect the site until the very end and do our best in preparations so that the Gyeonggi Province Disabled Athletes' Living Sports Games can be held safely and successfully," and added, "We will ensure there are no gaps in safety management so that both athletes and visitors can enjoy the games with peace of mind."
The 20th Gyeonggi Province Disabled Athletes' Living Sports Games will run from the 28th through the 29th in the Gapyeong County area, beginning with the opening ceremony at Seo-do Island on Jara Island.
