Gapyeong County announced on the 26th that it conducted a final safety inspection of the Jara Island event venue ahead of the opening of the "20th Gyeonggi Province Disability Living Sports Games."

The inspection was attended by County Governor Seo Tae-won and relevant officials who comprehensively examined the facilities and amenities at the Jara Island event venue where the opening ceremony will be held on the 28th. Attendees carefully reviewed various parts of the venue to ensure no safety accidents occur during the games.

County Governor Seo Tae-won said, "We will meticulously examine the site and do our best in preparation to ensure the Gyeonggi Province Disability Living Sports Games are held safely and successfully," and added, "We will ensure there are no gaps in safety management so that both athletes and visitors can feel assured and enjoy the games."

The 20th Gyeonggi Province Disability Living Sports Games will begin with an opening ceremony at Seo Island of Jara Island on the 28th and will be held throughout Gapyeong County until the 29th.
