Gwacheon Family Center Opens Doors at New Location

Gwacheon Family Center held a relocation ceremony on the 1st at its new location (16 Gwacheondae-ro 1-gil, Gwacheon City) and announced a fresh start.
The center's relocation was undertaken to expand the foundation of family support services in line with Gwacheon City's urban expansion and to actively respond to changing family structures and diverse family needs.
The ceremony proceeded in the following order: ▲National memorial ceremony and introduction of key guests ▲Video on the center's relocation history and center introduction ▲Congratulatory remarks ▲Celebratory performance ▲Ribbon-cutting ceremony ▲Facility tour.
Gwacheon Mayor Shin Gye-yong stated, "I sincerely congratulate Gwacheon Family Center on its new beginning, and making every citizen and family happy is Gwacheon City's top priority," adding, "We will continue to enhance customized family welfare services that citizens can clearly experience in their daily lives."
Gwacheon City plans to expand customized programs tailored to changing demographic structures such as multicultural families and single-person households, and further strengthen community-centered care infrastructure.
