Suwon Agricultural Technology Center Recruits Participants for Agricultural Development Fund Loan Support Program
[Suwon Ilbo=Correspondent Seo Dong-young] The Suwon Agricultural Technology Center is recruiting participants for the '2020 Agricultural Development Fund Loan Support Project,' which provides agricultural management funds to local farmers at a low interest rate of 1% until the 25th.
Selected farmers can borrow agricultural management funds and agricultural production and distribution facility funds needed for agricultural product processing and vinyl house installation at affordable rates.
The center plans to select one applicant each for agricultural management funds and agricultural production and distribution facility funds.
The agricultural management funds loan support targets farms that have a business location within the city, have been engaged in agriculture or fisheries for at least one year, and will receive loans at 1% annual interest up to 60 million won per farm and up to 200 million won for agricultural companies for funds needed for rice purchases, agricultural product processing, and other agricultural and livestock management expenses.
The agricultural production and distribution facility funds loan support provides loans at 1% annual interest of up to 100 million won per farm for funds needed to establish farming infrastructure such as farmland purchases and installation of facilities like vinyl houses.
However, those who have received previous loans but have not completed repayment and those who used or misused funds for purposes other than their intended use are excluded from eligibility.
Applicants should contact the Living Industry Division of the Agricultural Technology Center (031-228-2312) to undergo an eligibility review, take a loan examination at NH Nonghyup Bank Suwon Branch (031-250-1800), and then visit the Agricultural Technology Center to fill out and submit loan application documents and other materials.
