Yeongdeungpo-gu Conducts Guidance Inspections on Distribution-Related Businesses and Announces COVID-19 Prevention Measures

[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Seo Dong-young] Yeongdeungpo-gu has launched guidance inspections on distribution-related businesses including karaoke establishments and game facilities in the first quarter, while providing information on COVID-19 prevention measures.

The inspection, which began on the 5th, will be conducted through the 10th at 72 distribution-related businesses within the district. In particular, regarding COVID-19, the district advised on prevention and hygiene measures, emphasizing mask-wearing and enhanced disinfection of key facilities, as well as ensuring adequate supplies of essential infection prevention items such as hand sanitizers.

Additionally, the district is checking compliance with facility standards and business operator obligations, while also conducting fire safety inspections for multi-use facilities.

A district official stated, "To prevent infection in crowded places, please strictly comply with hygiene measures, and should a suspected patient appear at a business, please report to the Yeongdeungpo-gu Health Center (228-8814)."

The district regularly conducts representative education and on-site guidance inspections for distribution-related businesses to foster a healthy leisure culture.
