Yeongdeungpo-gu: "Check cadastral control points on the district office website"
[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Seo Dong-young] Yeongdeungpo-gu in Suwon has been providing a cadastral control point inquiry and consultation service through the district office website since mid-last month.
The district expects this will resolve the inconvenience of requiring citizens to visit the district office to confirm cadastral control points.
Cadastral control points are facilities that serve as the foundation for cadastral surveying. Until now, surveyors such as those conducting cadastral surveys had to visit the district office to verify the location and coordinates of cadastral control points.
The district has resolved this inconvenience by computerizing data on 1,901 cadastral control points within the district—including control point names, coordinates, locations, and photographs—on the district website.
The information can be viewed on the Yeongdeungpo-gu website (https://yt.suwon.go.kr/) under the top menu: Living Information → Cadastre → Cadastral Control Point Inquiry tab, where cadastral control points can be searched by legal dong (administrative subdivisions).
Ji Jun-man, head of the Comprehensive Civil Affairs Division, said, "Citizens can now easily view cadastral control points without having to visit government agencies, reducing both economic and time costs. Going forward, we will regularly update change data to provide real-time access to the latest information."
