Yeongdeungpo-gu Completes Second Round of Road Address Building Number Plate Maintenance
[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Seo Dong-young] Yeongdeungpo-gu, Suwon announced on the 29th that it has completed the second round of systematic maintenance of road address building number plates in 2020 for efficient management and upkeep of the plates.
The district replaced and installed 73 deteriorated, damaged, or missing building number plates out of a total of 6,491 plates in the district, improving the urban landscape and allowing residents to conveniently verify road addresses.
For the building number plate maintenance, the district conducted surveys using mobile field investigation terminals that allow real-time verification of information stored in the National Address Information System at the site. Previously, the district conducted a comprehensive survey of all building number plates from February and completed the first round of maintenance in July, maintaining 261 building number plates.
Ji Jun-man, head of the General Civil Affairs Division of Yeongdeungpo-gu, stated, "In the future, we will continue to maintain and expand facilities to ensure residents experience no inconvenience in using road addresses."
