'Only Culture' — A Month-Long Stay in Suwon Without Regrets...Festivals and Performances Throughout Suwon in September

Suwon Special City (Mayor Lee Jae-jun) will host music performances, festivals, and experience events throughout September in parks and major cultural spaces across Suwon.

The city has prepared diverse cultural and leisure content including the "2026 Saebbit Park Festival" that allows citizens to enjoy a bountiful autumn in nearby parks, as well as drone and fireworks festivals, jazz performances, park concerts, and village festivals.

The 2026 Saebbit Park Festival will run until September 30 at Manseok Park. At three locations including Gwanggyo Lake Park, "Solo Household Together Running" Season 2, a group running program for single-person households, will operate until the 16th (every Wednesday).

Large-scale cultural and artistic events will light up autumn nights with performances and illumination. The "2026 Suwon Jazz Fringe Festa" was held from the 4th to 6th around Hwaseong Haenggung Palace and Haenggung-dong area. Upcoming events include the △Gwanggyo Lake Park and Suwon Convention Center "2026 Suwon Drone and Fireworks Festival" (September 9th) △Ingye Art Park "2026 Park Concert" (11th) △Hwaseong Haenggung Palace Square "2026 Sa-Tong-Pal-Dal Harmony Gathering" (12th) △Gwanggyo Lake Park Fun Farm "2026 Suwon Jazz Festival" (18th-19th).

From September 19 to October 6, the "2026 Suwon Hwaseong Media Art" will take place at Jangan Park and around Hwaseomun and Janganhoeun gates.

Village festivals and experience programs will also be held throughout the parks. On September 12th, △Maetan Park's "Maetan 4-dong Sandraemy Chamssaegol Festival" △Byeokjeokgol Park's "Yeongdong 2-dong Harmony Festival" △Gwanggyo Lake Park's "National Youth Music Competition" will take place.

On September 19th, events will be held in various locations. △Seo Lake Park Lawn Square's "Manner Dog Certification Program Education" △Ingye Art Park's "18th Multicultural One Family Festival" △Dano Children's Park's "Yeongdong 1-dong Flea Market" △Dureuttul Park's "8th Homaesilg Plum Blossom Festival" △Park Ji-sung Children's Park's "3rd Yeongdong 3-dong Happiness Sharing Festival" △Tap-dong Citizen Farm's "35th Suwon Green Agriculture Festival" and other festivals blending ecology, culture, and welfare will unfold.
