Osan City to Host KBS 'TV Show Antique Appraisal' On-Site Evaluation

Osan City announced on the 4th that it will host a KBS 1TV 'TV Show Antique Appraisal' on-site evaluation at the Conference Hall at 1 p.m. on the 17th.

The 'TV Show Antique Appraisal' on-site evaluation, which began in 1995 and has garnered considerable viewership, provides free appraisals of citizens' fine art pieces and serves as an opportunity to promote the region's development and cultural heritage.

The on-site evaluation will be hosted by on-site MC comedian Kang Sung-bum, with expert appraisers from the fields of paintings, calligraphy, ceramics, and folk art in attendance. Any citizen may apply and submit their items for appraisal; however, currency and stamps cannot be appraised.

The Osan City Hall Department of Culture and Sports (370-3063) is accepting applications and submissions for collectibles until the 16th.

A city official stated, "We hope that hidden histories of Osan will be newly discovered through this 'TV Show Antique Appraisal' Osan City special, and we ask for the active participation of residents from Osan City and surrounding areas."
