Osan City Seeks Ideas for 'Childbirth and Childcare Initiatives'
Osan City announced on the 22nd that it will conduct a public proposal contest to discover excellent ideas from citizens and civil servants and reflect them in city policies, with the goal of creating an environment conducive to childbirth and childcare.
Following its designation as a 'childbirth and childcare pilot city' by Gyeonggi Province last year, the city has implemented various measures to create a happy Osan for citizens, including laying the groundwork for childbirth and childcare policies during the 2012 administrative briefing.
The city has set the proposal submission period from the 12th of this month through the 30th, and for proposals adopted after review, prize money totaling 1.4 million won and certificates will be awarded according to grade.
Proposals can be submitted via email to Osan City Hall (gso4208@korea.kr). For more details, citizens can contact the Family and Women's Department, Women's Policy Team (031-371-4855) or visit the Osan City Hall website.
