Osan City and Korean Social Network Association Sign 'SNS Cooperation Agreement'

Osan City and the Korean Social Network Association held a memorandum of understanding signing ceremony for an 'SNS Cooperation Agreement' on the 4th at the city hall situation room.

The cooperation agreement ceremony was held to establish social network policies for Osan City, the youngest city in the nation with an average age of 30.7 years, aimed at improving quality of life and fostering regional development through smooth communication with citizens.

According to the memorandum of understanding signed that day, Osan City will plan SNS-related policies and implement projects, while the association will provide SNS-related information, offer policy consultation to the city, establish and operate SNS systems, conduct SNS education, perform SNS promotional marketing, and carry out other SNS infrastructure linkage and related projects, with both parties agreeing to mutual cooperation.

At the signing ceremony, Kwak Sang-wook, Mayor of Osan City, and Lee Jang-woo, Chairman of the Korean Social Network Association, along with 15 officials from the city and the association, were present.

Mayor Kwak Sang-wook stated, "In city administration through communication with citizens in the young city of Osan, we will expand communication through SNS at the center," and added, "We ask for the continued cooperation of the Korean Social Network Association so that Osan can become a happy city where citizens can be together through various SNS communication channels."
