Osan City Publicly Recruits Members of Resident Participatory Budget Committee

Osan City announced on the 9th that it will publicly recruit members of the Resident Participatory Budget Committee from citizens for a period of 10 days, from the 5th to the 14th.

This public recruitment was arranged to ensure residents' participation in the budget compilation process and to enhance fairness and transparency in financial operations.

Applicants must be citizens with residency in Osan City or representatives or employees of business entities with headquarters or branches located in public institutions or business establishments in Osan City.

Applicants should download and complete the application form from the Osan City Budget Home website (http://www.osan.go.kr/family/budget/index.jsp) and submit it to the Planning and Audit Office at Osan City Hall, resident centers in each district, or the civil service department at City Hall.

The Selection Review Committee will compose a committee of up to 40 members, taking into account districts, departments, expertise, gender, and age. The committee will collect resident opinions and propose projects deemed essential for residents, thereby participating in budget compilation.

The term of office is two years, and a budget school will be operated from May to June for selected members, interested residents, and civil servants.
