Osan Healthy Family Support Center Celebrates 7th Anniversary
Approximately 200 attendees, including Mayor Kwak Sang-wook, city council members, officials from related organizations, and citizens, participated in the ceremony to celebrate the center's 7th anniversary.
The commemorative event featured pre-ceremony performances with energetic group percussion and nanta (Korean percussion performance), followed by the center director's opening remarks, congratulatory addresses from guests, a business report and promotional video screening, commendation of outstanding members, and a family talent show in which center families participated together, creating an enjoyable atmosphere for all.
Mayor Kwak Sang-wook, who attended the ceremony, stated, "I sincerely congratulate the Healthy Family Support Center on its 7th anniversary," and added, "I ask that you continue to engage in even more vigorous activities for the healthy and happy families of Osan citizens."
Meanwhile, the Osan Healthy Family Support Center, which was established in July 2006, has worked to create healthy and happy families for Osan citizens through programs including "family education," "family counseling," "childcare support," and "family community cultural activities." In 2011, the center received an excellence award in the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family's nationwide three-year evaluation of healthy family support centers, and in October of last year, it was selected as a specialized counseling organization for pre- and post-divorce counseling by the Korea Healthy Family Promotion Institute.
