Osan City Holds Information Disclosure Monitoring Committee Inauguration and Meeting

The event presented appointment certificates to 24 members of the second-term Information Disclosure Monitoring Committee recruited in October and briefed on major amendments to the Information Disclosure Act, and proceeded with a discussion on the appropriateness evaluation and expansion results of administrative information disclosure targets and the composition and activities of the second-term Osan City Information Disclosure Monitoring Committee.
Mayor Kwak Sang-wook, who attended the meeting that day, stated, "In relation to the implementation of Government 3.0, the current national paradigm, interest in information disclosure work is increasing day by day," and urged the monitoring committee's active participation to enhance citizens' right to information and ensure administrative transparency.
The second-term Information Disclosure Monitoring Committee is composed of 24 general citizens interested in administrative information disclosure, including 12 homemakers, 9 self-employed individuals, 2 office workers, and 1 student.
Additionally, the second-term Information Disclosure Monitoring Committee formed this time will carry out activities such as monitoring the appropriateness and implementation status of advance information disclosure from the 29th through December of next year for a two-year term, conducting satisfaction evaluations of the advance information disclosure system, and providing opinions on information disclosure system operations.
