Kim Yong-seo "I Will Establish a Youth Startup and Employment Support Center"
Kim Yong-seo, Saenuri Party candidate for Suwon mayor, met with university students from the Gyeonggi region and held an open dialogue about measures for regional development.
On the 21st at 7 p.m., candidate Kim met with approximately 30 students from the Gyeonggi Province University Student Council and the Korean Student Sports Federation at the election campaign office in Jung-dong, Paldal-gu, Suwon, and discussed job creation for youth and ways to develop sports.
Regarding job creation, candidate Kim emphasized, "Rather than simply increasing the number of jobs, it is important to create good jobs suited to aptitude and raise the employment rate," and stressed, "I will establish a Youth Startup and Employment Support Center."
In particular, candidate Kim emphasized that he would implement a priority hiring system for outstanding youth through memorandums of understanding (MOU) with regional companies such as Samsung.
In response to a question about "measures for developing sports in the Suwon region," candidate Kim said, "I served as chair of the Suwon Football Association for 14 years. I made various efforts to make Suwon a sports mecca," and answered, "I will provide unwavering support so that Suwon establishes itself firmly as a sports mecca."
Meanwhile, Jang Ji-ho (28), former chair of the Gyeonggi Province University Student Council, said, "The lives of Suwon citizens are becoming increasingly difficult," and added, "If you are elected mayor, I hope you will prepare realistic measures that can provide actual help rather than superficial solutions to the problems Suwon currently faces."
