Actively Preparing Convenient Transportation, Public Amenities, and Welfare for Low-Income Residents

Yu Jae-gwang (57, Saenuri Party), a candidate for Suwon City Council member (A District, Guun, Ipbuk, and Dangsoo-dong), is running for the position of Suwon City Council member with a determination to "work with local residents, practice tangible improvements, and enhance the region's happiness index."

Candidate Yu has implemented various regional initiatives, including installing lane markings and sidewalks on the Rural Development Agency thoroughfare, installing speeding cameras in traffic accident-prone areas, conducting aged road surface paving work near Seoho Park and securing and extending village bus service, and installing central dividers around the Rural Development Agency and Seoho Park to ensure safe passage.

In this local election, Candidate Yu announced major campaign pledges related to each administrative district and target groups comprising A District. According to regional pledges, in the Guun-dong area, he proposed: ▲construction of a new Guun-dong Community Center ▲attracting the Shinbundang Line Guun Station ▲changing Suin Road district unit plans from type 2 to type 1 ▲expanding public amenities in Ilwol Park ▲promoting small park maintenance projects within Guun-dong.

For Ipbuk-dong area, he presented: ▲opening access roads to villages connected to the Suin Industrial Road ▲expanding public facility installations. For Dangsoo-dong area, he proposed: ▲expanding the scale of the current sports park project after its scheduled completion in June ▲promoting early construction of a middle school ▲installing speeding cameras on the industrial road entering Dangsoo-dong.

As core pledges by target and age group, he committed to: ▲for parents, establishing study rooms to reduce private education costs through university student volunteer programs ▲for the elderly and vulnerable, securing leisure spaces for senior citizens ▲providing convenient facilities for the disabled and supporting programs beneficial to their independence ▲for women, supporting childcare services and developing and supporting programs to assist with business startups and employment.
