Kwon Jung-hee started her civil service career in Jeonja 2-dong, Jangan-gu in 1993. After her promotion to Senior Administrative Official in July 2021, she served as head of Maetan 3-dong, Yeongtong-gu, head of Administrative Support Division of Yeongtong-gu, head of Business Job Policy Division of Economic Policy Bureau, head of Policy Planning Division of Planning and Coordination Office, and head of Administrative Support Division of Planning and Coordination Office. Since July 2026, she has been serving as head of Family Policy Division of Women and Family Bureau.
She has held key positions in the Planning and Coordination Office, a core comprehensive department responsible for overall city administration planning and organizational management. While serving as head of the Business Job Policy Division, she played a role in establishing the business foundation by promoting the establishment of the "Suwon Enterprise New Light Fund." He was promoted to Local Secretary Official in February 2026 and served as head of Economic Free Zone Promotion Task Force, where he systematically prepared for the designation of the Economic Free Zone and made efforts to attract advanced enterprises and investment. He is highly recognized for his outstanding ability to effectively resolve major city administration issues through strong execution power. ■Yang Hwang-gyeong, Head of Living Expense Reduction Promotion Task Force (Acting Grade 4 Official)
Yang Hwang-gyeong started his civil service career in 1993. After his promotion to Senior Administrative Official in January 2023, he served as head of Maetan 1-dong, Yeongtong-gu and as Secretary to the Mayor, and has been serving as Public Relations Officer since January 2025, accumulating broad experience in overall city administration.
While serving as Secretary to the Mayor and Public Relations Officer, he demonstrated work capability in coordinating complex issues and clearly organizing key points, and is highly regarded for his decisive work execution and political sensibility. As the Mayor's direct subordinate heading the Living Expense Reduction Promotion Task Force, he will play a role in developing living cost reduction policies that citizens can practically feel in their daily lives.
He is expected to focus his capabilities on promoting practical livelihood policies that carefully observe inconveniences and burdens in citizens' daily lives, identify necessary policies, and connect them to actual benefits.
■Kim Hyung-soo, Director of Citizen Communication Bureau (Acting Grade 4 Official)
Kim Hyung-soo started his civil service career in Seryु 1-dong, Gwonseon-gu in 1993. He accumulated rich administrative experience by going through major departments including General Affairs Division, Planning and Budget Division, Policy Planning Division, and Autonomous Administration Division.
After his promotion to Senior Administrative Official in August 2022, he served as head of Younghwa-dong, Jangan-gu and as head of Tourism Division of Culture, Youth and Sports Bureau, and worked as head of Autonomous Decentralization Division of Planning and Coordination Office starting January 2024. He is highly regarded for his outstanding ability to proactively and carefully promote major issues based on broad understanding of overall city administration and rational and clear judgment.
He is known for his strong leadership and organizational skills in stably leading the organization by swiftly establishing work directions while carefully reviewing details and communicating without formality with employees. As the director of the newly established Citizen Communication Bureau, he is expected to further activate the citizen communication function, a core value of Suwon City, and to play a role in spreading city administration directions and achievements throughout citizens' daily lives.
