Osan City Conducts Mobile Inspections of Heating Equipment for Low-Income and Vulnerable Groups During Winter

[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Seo Dong-young] Osan City will conduct mobile inspection services for heating equipment targeting low-income and vulnerable groups during the winter season.

Osan City's Senior Citizens and Persons with Disabilities Division 1472 (Il-sa-cheon-ri) Care Team has joined forces with administrative welfare centers in each district and comprehensive social welfare centers. The team will make field visits to basic livelihood security recipients, low-income elderly living alone, single-parent families, and households with severely disabled persons to preemptively check for living difficulties. The initiative will run through the end of February next year.

Various heating facilities (boilers, briquette equipment, etc.) and fire extinguishers will be inspected. Daily convenience issues such as electrical and water facilities will be addressed together. Weather-proof curtains, portable fire extinguishers, and gas shut-off valves will also be installed.
